There are two ways you can sign in to access Government of Canada online services. You can choose to sign in with a GCKey or with a Sign-In Partner. Both of these options allow you to access multiple Government of Canada services.

Use a GCKey
This is a simple way for anyone to access online services. You create a GCKey username and password.
OR
Use a Sign-In Partner
Sign in through your Canadian bank. To use this method, you must have an online bank account with one of the Sign-In Partners.

Note: If your bank is not listed as a Sign-In Partner, you must use a GCKey.

PrairiesCan and PacifiCan Portal

Sign in to submit or manage your PrairiesCan, PacifiCan and Western Economic Diversification Canada’s application. If you already have an online account with the Government of Canada, you can use the same username and password to sign in.

Please choose an option to sign in:

GCKey

Sign in with your GCKey username and password.

About GCKey

A GCKey lets you securely access Government of Canada online services.

It includes a username and password that you choose. You must also create security questions. These steps help to keep your data secure and lets you recover your password.

To create a GCKey:

  1. Select Sign up with GCKey
  2. Select Sign Up
  3. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions of Use
  4. Follow the instructions to create a username and password
  5. Create your security questions and responses, then select Continue.

Once the Sign Up is complete, you can start to use your GCKey right away.

Sign in with your canadian online banking service.

About Sign-In Partners

Sign-In Partners are Canadian financial institutions such as banks and credit unions. If you already have an online banking account with one of the Sign-In Partners, you can use the same sign-in to access Government of Canada services.

To use a Sign-in Partner:

  1. Select Sign in with Sign-In Partner
  2. Choose your financial institution

    If you don’t see your financial institution listed, you will need to use a GCKey.

  3. Enter your banking sign-in information and select Continue or Login
